ELF Lip Stains - Five Different Shades

Normally, I don't wear lip stick, lip stains, or anything really pigmented or "heavy" on my lips. I prefer a light gloss or lip balm.
I've recently started to add more color to my lip collection! I've tried other lip stains in the past but they've always dried my lips out but I figured for $3, I don't have much to lose if I hated these!

I tried the shade "Heartbreaker" first, I wanted to just test these lip stains out before buying a bunch.
I liked the results and decided to buy five different shades!

The ELF website states;
Achieve full coverage that lasts for hours with this long-wear formula. Enjoy silky matte color or layer on the moisturizing clear gloss for a shiny look. With key vitamins A & E your lips stay smooth all day long.
I do agree that these do give you full coverage and they *are* long-wearing but they don't last as long as your typical stain would. These last me for about four hours and then I have to reapply. I personally don't mind that, I love the colors, I love that it does last for a good amount of time and I really like the texture. It sort of glides onto your lips and I prefer these without the clear gloss on top of them. I like the matte finish better. The gloss helps a lot to keep your lips moisturized. It isn't sticky at all and just a nice, normal clear gloss.

The shades I bought;
Heartbreaker - First Date - Red Carpet - Fashionista - Birthday suit
Heartbreaker - Natural nude
First Date - Light bright pink
Red Carpet - Deep cherry
Fashionista - Medium pink
Birthday Suit - Light pale baby pink

I love every single one of these shades. They're all great for different looks. Most of these are great for all skin tones.

These are my current favorite lip products.
